I am sure I am not alone in my eagerness, lack of patience, determination, entrepreneurial spirit and drive. It helps to be reminded that races take time and are not won with the first step. Stay the course. Remember, just the fact that you are running puts you way ahead of most.

I follow domain blogs on a daily basis. Most of these I read several times throughout the day. I think domaining is underappreciated and is an afterthought in most people’s minds. At one time I ran a domain blog, but never quite found my voice. I am not about to start that up again, because the people below have got it covered. That being said, I have my opinions on domains, domaining, and its place in the online market and I will leave my comments here on the Kansas City SEO blog as I have comments to make.

Without further ado. Here are the good domain blogs to follow.

Elliot’s Blog is one of my absolute favorites. I enjoy several aspects of the blog, but I think one of my favorites is that he is a developer as well as a domainer. I am of the mind that development is a fantastic way to build a revenue stream and increase the value of the domain overall. Elliot also does a nice job allowing comments and engaging with those people who leave them. Elliot posts multiple times a day, so be sure to check in often.

Seven Mile is a blog maintained by Frank Schilling. Frank does not post as frequently as he has in the past, but we he does you want to take the time to read and digest the content. He is very insightful and has been very successful in the domain space.

Rick Schwartz maintains a blog and provides multiple updates daily. Rick’s style is very direct (as you can see on the left), but the message is clear and on-target. Rick has been in the domain game for years and has a great deal of wisdom to impart as a result. Be sure to check in. You will walk away with more knowledge for having done so.

The Domain Name Journal is written by Ron Jackson. Ron is a men among boys when it comes to writing. He is an actual journalist and he comes across as such when you read his posts. Ron does a thorough job covering the industry. He is at almost all major domain conferences. He profiles the biggest names in the space and offers his readers a glimpse into what makes these successful individuals tick.

Domain Name Wire is written by Andrew Allemann a good blog to follow. Andrew posts multiple times a day and does a nice job covering news in the industry. He is often early to break news and provides his perspective as well.

So there you have it. There is a lot of money to be made in domaining. There is a lot of money to be made in development. This is simply another piece in the online puzzle and that’s why I wanted to share it here. Hope you enjoy.
